This post was updated on November 14th, 2024, with the latest pre-order and pricing information, along with the confirmed release date announcement from Games Workshop.
Games Workshop revealed its latest pre-order releases, including the yearly battleforces for Warhammer 40k and AoS, which will be available to order on Saturday. There are also a few new Black Library offerings along with the Commemorative Ratlings Provisionally Prepared box set.
Here are all the details for the new six Warhammer 40k and four AoS battleforces, plus Black Library book pre-orders, which will be available from GW on Saturday, November 16th, around 1 p.m. EST in the States with a release date of November 30th, 2024 on Black Friday Weekend.
New Warhammer 40k Pre-Orders
Reinforcements are en route, as the latest Warhammer 40k pre-orders have just hit the scene! These new releases are locked, loaded, and ready for action. Time to grab your paints, assemble your troops, and prepare to dominate the tabletop.
Provisionally Prepared: $42 CAD$53 €34.00 £26.00
Introducing the Ratling sniper duo who can’t decide what’s more urgent: incoming enemies or an irresistible sausage. This limited-edition Commemorative Series model will only stick around while stocks last, so set your sights on pre-orders this week!
Adepta Sororitas Battleforce Penitent Crusade Host: $240 CAD$290 €190.00 £157.50
Meet the Sisters of Battle who believe in redemption through sheer battlefield mayhem. The Penitent Crusade Host packs in a Ministorum Priest, two versatile Penitent Engines (they can also become Mortifiers if you’re feeling fancy), nine Sisters Repentia with their superior, and a formidable batch of 10 Arco-Flagellants.
Top it off with two sturdy Rhinos to deliver these fierce warriors straight to the action, plus a transfer sheet with a whopping 290 decals.
Imperial Knights Battleforce Valourstrike Lance: $240 CAD$290 €190.00 £157.50
Knights in shining… well, giant, deadly metal suits. This Valourstrike Lance set features a Knight Paladin (or an Errant if you’re mixing it up) and four Armiger Helverins armed to the teeth with autocannons. Or, if you’re feeling dramatic, build them as Armiger Warglaives, brandishing thermal spears and chain-cleavers. Don’t forget the transfer sheet – 647 decals await your customization needs.
Necrons Battleforce Hypercrypt Legion: $240 CAD$290 €190.00 £157.50
The Necrons are here to remind everyone why space magic isn’t just a fantasy. The Hypercrypt Legion includes an Overlord with a snazzy Translocation Shroud, 10 Triarch Praetorians (or Lychguard, depending on your vibe), and 10 Necron Warriors, all joined by three Canoptek Scarab Swarms. A shifty C’tan Shard of the Void Dragon floats ominously at the helm.
T’au Empire Battleforce Retaliation Cadre: $240 CAD$290 €190.00 £157.50
What’s the pitch? Battlesuits. Tons of battlesuits. This set boasts a Commander with a drone buddy, a formidable Riptide Battlesuit with two drones, a stealthy Ghostkeel Battlesuit with its own pair of drones, and a Broadside Battlesuit (again, two drones included). As if that wasn’t enough, you’ll also score a T’au Empire Transfer sheet with 225 decals to seal the deal.
Dark Angels Battleforce Inner Circle Task Force $240 CAD$290 €190.00 £157.50
Only the most loyal warriors make it into the secretive Inner Circle. This elite force includes a Chaplain clad in Terminator armor, six companions ready to protect and serve, and 10 Deathwing Knights with their trusty Watchers in the Dark. Wrap it all up with a Dark Angels transfer sheet loaded with 217 decals for that finishing touch.

The Ironjawz Wrekkamob is all about overwhelming power, featuring six Weirdbrute Wrekkaz (or Brute Ragerz if that’s more your thing), 20 battle-hardened Ardboyz, and a fearsome Tuskboss on a Maw-grunta (or a different Maw-grunta build if you’re feeling fancy).
Flesh-eater Courts Battleforce Charnelgrand Jury $240 CAD$290 €190.00 £157.50
Picture blood-drenched cannibals who think they’re chivalrous knights defending their realm. This grim box features the slightly-aware Grand Justice Gormayne, six Morbheg Knights, 10 Cryptguard, and six Crypt Horrors (or winged Crypt Flayers for those who enjoy a little aerial drama).
Cities of Sigmar Battleforce Founding Foray: $240 CAD$290 €190.00 £157.50
This set brings together a motley crew with nothing but determination, Sigmar’s blessings, and some serious firepower. The Founding Foray includes a Freeguild Marshal and their Relic Envoy, a Freeguild Command Corps, 10 Freeguild Fusiliers, an Ironweld Great Cannon, and a heavily armed Fusil-Major on Ogor Warhulk.
The five Freeguild Cavaliers are ready to charge in for a grand finale.
Maggotkin of Nurgle Shudderblight Cyst: $240 CAD$290 €190.00 £157.50
If spreading pestilence and decay is your thing, look no further. This merry bunch is led by a grim Harbinger of Decay, with five Putrid Blightkings, 10 Rotmire Creed, and four Pusgoyle Blightlords (one can be built as a Lord of Affliction for a touch of leadership).
